Hi, my name is Jake Nowe! I’m a political independent who has been involved in politics for a while. I’ve studied politics in my formal education, worked in politics professionally in jobs such as campaign manager, and I really like to talk about politics! But all these avenues have taught me one thing: there isn’t a place for Independents in American politics.
That’s why I created IndieNowe! It’s a place for Independent’s, or indie’s as I sometimes like to say, and anyone else who wants to get an independent, rational, and unique perspective on politics.
As an Independent I believe that politics is situational and contingent. Every political situation is different, and the solution should be based on the situation, not preconceived partisan views. And sometimes, as crazy as it sounds, your views can change based on the issue and the times.
So join us as we discuss political issues and current events from this independent perspective. Some of my opinions you may like, others you may hate. Some you may partially agree with, others you may partially disagree with. And if you hate and disagree with them, good. Because that’s the point.
The point of IndieNowe is to “think” about politics and challenge a range of different views. Because when we do that, we can honestly decide if our views are worth having and what solutions are worth the most to our country.
