I am a political independent who has been involved in politics for a while.
I’ve studied politics in my formal education and worked in politics professionally in jobs such as campaign manager.
But these avenues and being a lifelong independent have taught me one thing: there isn’t a great place for independents in American politics.
That’s why I created IndieNowe!
IndieNowe is a place to discuss independent politics. It is a place for anyone who wants to get an independent perspective in a country inundated with partisan politics.
As an independent, I believe that politics is situational and contingent. Every political situation is different, and the solution should be based on the situation, not preconceived partisan views. And sometimes, as crazy as it sounds, your views can change based on the issue and the times.
So, join us as we discuss politics and current events from this independent perspective!
Some of my opinions you may like, others you may hate. Some you may partially agree with, others you may partially disagree with. And if you hate and disagree with them, good. That’s the point.
The point is to think about politics and challenge various views because when we do that, we can truly decide if our views are worth having and what solutions would be most beneficial to our country.
